Hi, I am Liam
I work as a project manager. I am a parent. An expat based in Delft, Netherlands.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually opened a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Relocating to Netherlands wasn’t part of the long-term plan. Like many expat moves, it began as a work opportunity and quickly became something much bigger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more complicated than they ought to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, ambiguity, and lots of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines began to take shape. We found spots that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something steady.
Why I Built Pavme Loquin Sar
Online guidance was mostly either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourist content. What was lacking was an authentic, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in Netherlands.
What This Site Covers (And What It Doesn’t)
This site DOES:
- Practical insights from living in Netherlands
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something genuinely changes
This site DOESN'T:
- A resource from a tourism board
- A platform for sponsored reviews
- A typical travel blog
Looking Forward
Our time in Netherlands continues, and so does the learning process. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Delft or anywhere in Netherlands, please feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
Liam
